TECHNIQUE SERIES - This skate ski program is designed for the advanced beginner to the advanced level skate skier. We will offer 5 sessions. Learn the latest technique to get you more efficient and faster on your skis. We will help you achieve your goals in the sport, whether those goals are to have more fun or to bring down those race times.
1:00-2:30 (all Wednesdays) Jan. 9 - No Poles Skating Jan. 16 - V1 Hill Technique Jan. 23 - V2 Alternate and Cornering Jan. 30 - Video Analysis Feb. 6 - V2
*$125 for whole series; $30 drop-in rate
Coaches: Mia Stockdale (PSIA Level 3 certified); Dan Weiland (Ski and Snowboard Club Vail Head Nordic Coach); Haleigh Armstrong (Collegiate skier for Bates College).
WOMEN’S SERIES Jan. 9, Wed. - Beginner Skate Clinic followed by a Fashion Show and Wine - 4:00-6:30 $40 (Space limited so sign up early)
*Jan. 10, 17, 24, 31 - 4-Session Beginner Classic Clinic - 1:00-2:30 $160 for entire sesson includes day passes and equipment
*Feb. 20 - Beginner Skate Clinic followed by Adventure Slide Show - 4-6:30 $40
VIDEO ANALYSIS LESSON: Book a private lesson with videio analysis. This lesson is 1 1/2 hours. The first 45 minutes will consist of analyzing and practicing technique followed by a video session and critique inside. This is an invaluable way of improving technique.
